Windstone Behavioral Health (WBH) is a behavioral health professional medical corporation that provides managed mental health and substance abuse treatment services through contracts with managed care organizations, HMOs, behavioral health carve-out companies, medical groups and public sector agencies.
WHS is currently seeking MD (Psy) or NP for psychiatric consultations and follow up care services for patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities. NP must possess valid California RN license and Nurse Practitioner Certification with prescription privileges from the Board of Nursing. These providers will provide a variety of behavioral health services including psychiatric medication evaluation, prescribing, organizing treatment plans and medication management.
Specific geographic areas of need include Long Beach, Lakewood, Artesia, Pasadena, Glendale, Palm Desert, Palm Springs.
Requirements:
**Candidate should have minimum 3 years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
**Must be licensed by the State of California
**Must be knowledge of current trends in the field of mental health.
**Geriatric experience a plus
**Flexible schedule.
**Excellent Compensation (established fee schedule)
**Bilingual a plus.
